Milestone events:

Visiting former Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka Folklore University, Sri D.B Nayak, who has collected and published a dozen or so books on the folklore of the Gor Banjaras.

Receiving the NBPA National Award from the National Banjara Professors Association.

The award was gifted at the 10th annual conference of NBPA in the city of Gadag in Karnataka.

The award winning book has also been published in the regional language Kannada.
